Jmail prints all letters and document attachments double-sided by default.
Some prisons are now requiring letters and documents to be sent single-sided because they are photocopying or scanning everything and the originals are not delivered to the prisoner to help in preventing drugs from entering the facilities.
If you need Single-Sided printing, we suggest creating your letter or documents in a word processor like MS Word. There you can leave every 2nd page blank so that when we print double-sided the back is always blank. Once you have completed creating your document in MS Word you should click SAVE AS and save the document as a .PDF. Then you can upload it to our site like you would a photo, then just leave our text box blank.
Another positive to this is you have control over everything with your document, like font type or size, you can widen the margins and just do things our default text box does not provide.
Please keep in mind however when sending that the blank pages will still count toward your page count as this requires Jmail to provide double the amount of paper for your letter and also doubles the weight which increases the postage costs.
