Question: For Jmail Box & Ship mail forwarding service, how do you mail the letter to my address? Will you mail it in a separate envelope, or will you just replace the address on the envelope the inmate sent? Will the inmate's return address be on the envelope sent to my address?

Answer: After signing up for Jmail Box & Ship any letters you receive will appear in the Jmail Box & Ship link in the Premium drop down in the navigation menu. There you can select which letters you want forwarded to you or request certain letters to simply be discarded. Once you make you submit a request for letters to be forwarded to you, Jmail will send you the requested letters bundled together in either a plain white envelope, large envelope, poly mailer or sturdy cardboard envelope (if package service is requested). The letters are shipped to the address you provide and will be marked with the Jmail name and return address on the envelope or package. There is no inmate information listed on the outside of the packaging.
